Optional Sauce Add-Ins

  • Ranch dressing

Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork (for mashing avocado)
  • Skillet or grill pan (if cooking chicken fresh)
  • Tongs or spoon

Method

Prepare the Avocado Mixture
  1. In a bowl, add peeled avocados and mash gently with a fork. You want a creamy texture with a few small chunks remaining.
  2. Add lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika if using. Mix until smooth and well seasoned.
  3. Tip: Lime juice not only adds flavor but helps prevent the avocado from browning.
Season and Prepare the Chicken
  1. If using leftover or rotisserie chicken, simply season it lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. If cooking chicken fresh:
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a little paprika
  4. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side
  5. Let rest, then slice or shred
  6. Warm chicken works best for wraps, but this recipe also tastes great cold.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a generous layer of avocado mixture down the center of each tortilla. Add chicken evenly, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and cheese if using.
  3. Drizzle lightly with your preferred sauce, if desired.
Wrap and Serve
  1. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half for easier eating.
  2. Serve immediately or wrap tightly for meal prep.
